This is a very unique, one off Pro SS
This Pro SS has a w/ 1 piece 7075 billet t-bar & 6061 billet wings
The Seat Tower: This is a current, stock Sky Ski Rock Tower
The Board: An LE build with the custom “P-40” graphics. Board blank weight is 9.5 lbs.
The Foil: The T-bar is a 7075 1-piece t-bar, made in 2002 with a 29" strut. This is the predecessor to the LEX, we made the first prototype billet t-bars the same length as the old cast Pro SS t-bars. We quickly learned longer struts are much better! The front wing is a Pro SS style wing, straight trailing edge and very predictable/easy to ride. The rear wing is also a prototype made in the early 2000s, we were playing around with a wing you could adjust lift by changing the angle, but without the use of shims. At a Pro SS level this wing works very well. At an LE level we found it to produce a bit too much drag.
The foil features an “Akadize” coating. Similar to Anodize, the Akadize coating protects the aluminum while reducing drag on the foil.
